Postal Strike

Postal Strike spices up the Vampire Survivors genre in a mail-flavored way. As one of several mailman characters, you do all the usual VS things: Avoid enemies, collect XP orbs, pick your upgrades.
The game is split into waves of mail delivery days, with a shop in-between, and there are permanent upgrades/unlocks attainable by doing feats like maxing out a weapon or beating a difficulty, as well as a metaprogression shop.

What sets Postal Strike apart from the bullet heaven competitors is that taking damage a few times won’t lead to the end of your run, with a generous limitation to how frequently you can get hit. With the wave system, there are no different sections of the playable area to explore, but at least the arena is big enough. Pathing obstacles like tree stumps are a mixed bag: it’s nice if they block enemy dogs, doors and drones, but it’s less nice if you accidentally get stuck in place for a second or three. Weapons such as newspaper stacks as mines or a party that sucks up nearby enemies add a little novelty.

Postal Strike launches on 01 December 2025 for $1.99/1.99€.
