AMEN: The Quiet Exodus is a dark mystery, choice-driven VN that blends gothic horror and sci-fi in a really unique way, setting up a world where humanity is trying to artificially manufacture human souls in a lab. This desperate research stems from a mysterious event years earlier that placed a veil over newborns’ faces, hiding them from the outside world. Because the face is often seen as the symbol of the soul, these children were deemed soulless and doomed by society. You play as Ilayaa, a special girl who became the first person to receive a soul transplant, given to her by her dying mother.

The art style is gorgeous and eerie. If you enjoy dark, atmospheric visual novels with philosophical themes and psychological horror, the demo is absolutely worth checking out while we wait for the full release in September 2026.
